Metes of Boethius XIII has been posted in its proper place. Who knew that conative bodies (a la Spinoza, via Jane Bennett) were a Boethian idea! Check it out — it even uses the word for “striving”!

I was just looking in my files & discovered that I had translated this poem all the way back last year. So I’m posting it now, though I’m not terribly happy about it right now. I need to keep working on the Metres to see if I figure out how they’re supposed to sound.
